You’ll make real chocolate by hand — bars, bonbons or truffles depending on the workshop — and take your creations home. Every workshop also includes a tour of our chocolate museum. It’s hands-on, messy and fun for all ages.
The workshop time shown on each experience is the making plus the museum tour — around 30 to 90 minutes depending on the experience. Please arrive 30 minutes early — Mijas Pueblo is busy and parking takes a while.
Families are welcome from age 3. Children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult throughout the workshop. Some experiences (wine, coffee and chocolate tastings) are for grown-ups only.
Everything you need: all the equipment and ingredients, the chocolate you make to take home, the space, our chocolatiers on hand to help you, and entry to the chocolate museum.
Yes — we offer vegan and gluten-free options, and we’re very used to dealing with allergies. Just tell us about any allergies or dietary needs in the notes when you book so we can prepare. Our workshops do use ingredients that may contain milk, soya, nuts and gluten, so we take all reasonable precautions but can’t guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Cancellations more than 48 hours before your workshop get a full refund; within 48 hours (and no-shows) are non-refundable. Rescheduling more than 48 hours ahead is subject to availability. Use the link in your confirmation email or email info@mayanmonkey.es.
We’re in Mijas Pueblo, by Plaza Virgen de la Peña. The nearest car park is about a 3-minute walk away. It can be busy in season, so allow extra time and arrive about 30 minutes early.
Yes — our workshop is wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific access needs, email us at info@mayanmonkey.es beforehand and we’ll make sure everything’s ready for you.
Just yourself — we provide aprons and everything you need. Wear something you don’t mind getting a little chocolate on. Bring a bag if you’d like to carry your creations home safely.
Our team runs workshops in English and Spanish, and our website is available in several languages. Let us know if you have a preference when you book.
Yes — we love groups. We have a dedicated page for school and college visits, and we run birthday parties too. For larger groups, get in touch and we’ll arrange it.
